great eye love your work
Thank you Frank!
Well composed. The feeling of the composition matches its central focus. It is cropped to include the gate, welcoming the viewer into the composition. There is interest with the meadow in the background becoming a restful foreground. And there is juxtaposition with the weathered lumber of the shed and the trunk of a living tree. Composition is not an entirely thinking process. There is no algorithm for how many elements hold together a composition or how many elements fragment the message. A composition that is more than the sum of its parts must come from the heart. The eye relaxes. The mind obeys. The image is healing. – The Healing Garden gardener
