The title of this site, Wabi Sabi Images, is my driving influence, literally and figuratively. I have traveled many miles in pursuit of the images shown here, images that I believe define the concept of wabi sabi in some way. While I shoot a variety of subjects now, the images on this website are carefully chosen as examples of wabi sabi as I see it.  Almost every image will have elements created by man and enhanced with elements contributed by Mother Nature.  Most will have some hint of the passage of time, something historic or nostalgic.  All will have an element of glorious imperfection and unexpected beauty.  Some are zen-like, others have a more American country feel, but in the end I hope that each one individually helps define the concept.

I plan to continue this pursuit for a long, long time.
